Yes ! Tea grown in England ! The first ever English tea was initially secretly grown in the 1900’s at Tregothnan, an ancient Estate in Cornwall dating from 1335.
The Tregothnan Estate has always been passionate about growing and collecting plants and has cultivated the tea genus ornamentally for over 200 years.
The tea we have chosen from the Estate is The Afternoon Tea – a light and exotic blend of the finest Darjeeling and hand plucked leaves from the Estate. The tea drinks light and refreshing and especially suits being taken with cakes in the afternoon.
